Oshkosh, Wisconsin - Duerst Insulation Technicians, Inc. of Oshkosh and Madison was one of several companies to donate product and labor to the winner of the Home Energy Makeover contest. 

The contest was sponsored by Focus on Energy and Wisconsin Public Service, in partnership with WFRV, Channel 5 and WSAW, Channel 7.  The contest awarded Brian Stoller of De Pere with home energy-efficiency improvements, including insulation and air sealing, Energy Star qualified appliances and a new HVAC system.

The prize, valued at about $23,000, is meant to draw attention to the growing importance of maximizing energy efficiency in homes.
